Here are a few quick answers to the most common questions before your skydive.
You’ll only need a small amount of training in order to execute your first tandem jump, but showing up and suiting up are the last steps in a process that should start well before you book your trip. Our ten-step guide covers everything you need to know about how to prepare for skydiving—before, on the day of, and immediately prior to your jump. Once you’ve mastered skydiving preparation with DZONE®, you’ll be ready for the experience of a lifetime.

If you arrive on time and are the first or second group of the day, expect to be in and out within an hour. With that said, you should plan on visiting with us for up to 4 hours. Unexpected weather delays, and making sure we give quality service to all our customers sometime can back things up later in the day. It’s like the doctor’s office, so reserve the morning!

Dress comfortable and please be sure to bring sneakers. We will provide you with optional jump pants to wear over your clothes so that you don’t risk a grass stain on landing. A sweatshirt in the Spring and Fall is also recommended.

Our standard jump altitude is 14,000 ft, which already gives you a longer freefall than all other skydive in Idaho! As an added bonus, when ground temperatures are below 80º F, we will take you to 15,000 ft for no extra charge! So remember to book your jump for the morning to take advantage of this!

Yes! Unlike some operators that must take a shuttlebus through traffic to a remote landing area , DZONE® Boise in Parma has a lovely spectator area where friends and family can view the green grass ‘LZ’ (landing zone) all from our main location.
Safety first! If we think the weather is introducing an unacceptable level of risk, we will stand down and re-schedule you. If you need time to check your calendar, we just place you in “limbo” and you can call us when you pick your reschedule date. Don’t worry, you will not lose your deposit or any funds paid.
